Whale Watching Report

Captain Michael reports on scene with the whales, up to the north near Point Roberts. Stay tuned for updates from Naturalist Jami Nagel. We found ourselves just shy of the Canadian border today with J & K pod. Princess Angeline J17, with her calf J44, and her daughter Polaris J28 and Polaris's calf J46 gave our guests some great memories and photo opportunities as the calves practices their breaching and learning to fish. One of the photos taken today shows a salmon in one of the calves mouth. Cappuccino K21 showed off his breaching ability by giving us 3 amazing breaches and a cartwheel. To top the day off the sun decided to appear to give us another beautiful day in the islands.-Naturalist Jami Nagel
